EVERY single day, 30,000 children are dying as a result of extreme poverty.
That’s one child every three seconds.

This year we finally have the resources, knowledge and opportunity to end this shameful situation. In 2005 thousands of people in countries all around the world are coming together to MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY once and for all.
MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY Aotearoa New Zealand is part of this massive global movement.
It is made up of a coalition of organisations from across the country who have come together to call for the New Zealand government to play its part in ending poverty.
